For several years, Motofil has been providing a wide range of technological solutions for metalworking industries, always considering the productive needs of each specific market, such as the industry of shipbuilding and related equipment and components. This fact and the will to expand the company, led Motofil to join NAVALIA tradeshow.
After a long period of crisis, the shipbuilding sector started to re-emerge with a new level of demand: renewed vessels of larger size and efficiency. The volume of growing investment in this industry, evidenced also the existence of new reinforcing needs in terms of welding and cutting.
Due to the favourable scenario on the international market of naval sector, Motofil decided to participate for the first time on NAVALIA, one of the greatest tradeshows of the naval sector in Europe, which occurred in the Instituto Feiral de Vigo, in Spain. This event, which is in its 7th edition, was visited by 25 thousand professionals of this sector and counted with the participation of 750 companies from 90 countries, with prominence of Spanish and Portuguese ones.
Carlos de la Hoz, commercial representative of Motofil Ibérica, states that “the naval sector is actually with a promising horizon” and, because of that, Motofil’s effort in participating on Navalia “will be rewarded mostly in terms of equipment of thermal cutting”, considering the interest on enquiries for this sector.
Arnaldo Marques, commercial representative of Motofil Robotics in Portugal, emphasizes the diversity of visitors that came to the tradeshow, which reinforces the importance to Motofil’s continuous investement in “flexible solutions with the purpose to capture the attention and create the need in the client”.
The participation on NAVALIA 2018, allowed Motofil to board in a sea of new opportunities that follows the naval sector, an investment which is expected to be consolidated in the long-term.
